From Prison to Princess

The first question I am often asked, is "Why You?" Or "How can you help me?"

I'll be honest, I'm 63, I've been around a long time. I am a flawed individual like anyone else. No one's perfect, right? But let me tell you how I got from where I was to where I am, and hopefully, you will see why I am passionate about helping other people with their journey to Fierce Self- Confidence.

Firstly, when I was young, I knew I was capable of something great. I was intelligent, intuitive and creative, but I was also deeply insecure, lacked self-confidence and I was a relentless people pleaser.
This led to some bad mistakes, some …very… bad…. mistakes. One of these people pleasing mistakes ended me in Prison for 4 months.

After that, life was shall we say challenging? But what I learned was that with the right mindset and the correct strategies and beliefs, you can achieve anything!

I looked into coaching, trained with Tony Robbins, studied NLP (neuro linguistic programming) studied to be a counsellor, trained as an actor, a hairdresser, an image consultant, an etiquette and protocol expert, eventually having the opportunity to work with Princess Diana on etiquette and personal self-confidence.

On top of all this, I have gone through a lot. I grew up in a very male dominated family, as such, being GAY (oh, did I mention, I'm gay?) was not an option. I had to hide who I was and pretend to be someone I wasn't. I married a woman, because that was what was expected. The guilt, the anxiety, the shame, often made me consider suicide as the "easy option".

After 20 years of marriage, I couldn't do it anymore, and I came out.  I lost my wife, my home, many friends, and my dog!
I met a man who loves me and we have been married for 12 years. Fairytale, eh?  Not really....

In the past few years, my father died from a stroke, my brother died unexpectedly at 63, my best friend died 3 months later, a week before her 40th birthday. My mother who had advanced dementia died after 8 years of care, 3 of which she didn't know who I was.

So, I have experienced depression, guilt, dementia, anxiety, bereavement, coming out, divorce, loss of identity, direction, the list goes on...

I don’t tell you this for sympathy, just to let you know that when we work together and I say I understand- I REALLY understand.

Today, I am proof that your past does not define your future. I’ve taken every lesson, every hardship, and every setback to build a life I’m proud of. My journey from prison to princess has been unconventional, but it’s mine, and I embrace it fully.

Now, I’m a personal development coach- focused on transforming your personal and professional presence. It’s not just coaching- I combine life coaching, etiquette expertise, business strategy, and image consulting to help my clients make a lasting impact—whether you’re stepping into a boardroom, networking, or just want to feel more confident in your everyday life. I work with professionals, executives, and entrepreneurs, anyone who feels their potential doesn’t fully show in how they present themselves and are ready for a complete transformation. If you’re looking to lead with confidence, enhance your presence, and align your outward image with your inner goals, let’s talk.

My aim is not to change you, but to guide you to find yourself and discover your FIERCE SELF CONFIDENCE.
